A Welcome from the Program Director:

Welcome to Arnot and thank you for your interest in general surgery! It is my hope to instill in each of you the importance of lifelong education and learning. At Arnot, we have developed our curriculum to train our surgical residents to become well-rounded physicians and general surgeons. While here, you’ll be exposed to the traditional open approach, as well as, the latest minimally invasive techniques for the alimentary tract, biliary and bariatric procedures. Additionally, opportunities for exposure to plastic surgery, urology, cardiac and thoracic and vascular surgery are available. Our goal is that you will finish our program with the skills and confidence to practice surgery independently as well as be competitive for applying at fellowships. We look forward to working with you!
